Hi I’m Charlotte, I’m 16 years old, and I am an outgoing, enthusiastic individual, always willing to help anybody.  I am full of energy and I stand up for what’s right.  I will listen to other people and do my best to help young people’s voices to be heard.  I’m also honest and reliable and can be depended upon. I enjoy a whole variety of new challenges. I work well within a team, and also very well using my own initiative.  I enjoy socializing and I have good communication skills with people on all levels.  I am dedicated to making a difference.

The main issue for me in Halton is making sure that all young people are kept safe from harm.  Not only that, I want to make sure that all young people know what to do, were to go and who can help them if they are worried or in need of any help at all.  In addition to this other issues in Halton that affect a lot of young people are bullying, crime and discrimination, it concerns me that young people are bullied because they are different.  It also concerns me that young people are often seen as committing crimes or put on an ASBO, but you don’t see the stories of young people who have had crimes committed against them such as being mugged or assaulted. I think this is because young people are discriminated against.
